There is no doubt in my mind, that in the near future, you will come in contact with some form of illegal drugs. In order to educate yourself and prepare you are to research a street drug or the illegal use of prescription drugs or the effect of energy drinks on the brain and nervous system. Your presentation ( your choice) should include but is not limited to:

 

• Street names - definition or general description of the drug - How is it used? smoked, orally consumed, injected…

• ​

• "The Heaven" what does the user experience that is pleasant/positive?

 

• " The Hell"  what does the user experience that is negative/terrifying?

 

• Effects on the Body - what happens to the user's physical body 

 

• Effects on the Brain - what happens to the user's brain when getting high and in the long term?

 

• Effects on Society - What are the social ramifications of this drug? How much does it cost for treatment, personally and as a community?
