INSECTS ARE AWESOME!

We fool ourselves most days. As humans we imagine the Earth to be ours but it really belongs to insects. We have barely begun to count their kinds. New forms turn up daily, in backyards, in cities, nearly anytime we flip a log. No two insects seem the same. According to E.O. Wilson, ants are very important to the environment. If you were to weigh all the insects, ants would make up two thirds of the weight. They weigh four times as much as all the birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians put together!
