The Collection
Each student is responsible for creating a collection of 18 identified insects.
You have 3 options available to meet this requirement.
Option #1
Using a net collect specimens on campus or about town. You must make an index card for each insect caught that includes the following information.

Common name
-
Order represented
-
Place in the food web (carnivore, omnivore, herbivore, or decomposer)
-
Habitat found –forest, open field, lawn or garden, aquatic
-
County found in and date
-
Your name
Option #2

You may make a color drawing of an insect collected by a fellow student. You must include all of the information listed in Option #1 in addition to the name of the student who caught the insect on the back of the card.

You may make a Google slide show including 18 insects / one insect per slide with the information listed in Option #1. This must also include the name of the student who caught the insect on the slide.
